An Original Oil Painting on canvas of Domenichino's "Sybil" is a rare find. Domenichino was born in 1581 and died in 1641. His oil on canvas entitled "Sybil" was painted between 1616 and 1617 and can be found in the Gelleria Borghese, Rome, Italy. This is a large painting probably dating from the early part of the 19th Century. It measures approximately 49in x 36in. There has been some professional restoration and at some point the canvas has been relined. A viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the fine quality of this original oil painting.
