A handsome candlestick evoking the stately Empire style popular in the Victorian period. Standing 16" (40cm) high it has a thick black marble base 7" (18cm) across with three padded brass feet. The central black metal column arises from an ornate fluted brass plinth and is surmounted by a brass platform 5" (13cm) in diameter for holding a large candle.
