A superb example of a French tasssel tie-back beautifully made with multi-coloured wool probably dating from around the turn of the century (difficult to assign a specific age but between 1890 and 1910?) With huge 10" (25cm) tassel tails, multi-coloured plaited tie-backs through a woven net effect slip ball this is a handsome tie back indeed. Total length approximately 36" (90cm).
