Making A Purchase
Payment is due at the time of placing your order. Online orders can be paid for with your credit/debit card using the Paypal system. Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Delta card, American Express and Switch.
All goods remain the property of Objets-d-Art until paid for in full.
Once your payment has been confirmed by Paypal we will confirm by email that your order has been received and acknowledged. As this confirmation is sent to you automatically, an error may have been made of which we are not aware despite our best efforts. Because of this we retain the right to cancel the order as set out under the “Cancellation” heading.

Security and Clearing
All card payments made through our website are protected by a secure connection. That is to say that your credit card information is encrypted prior to it being transferred to the bank for authorisation.

Descriptions
The price you pay is the price displayed on our website at the time we receive your order, and will be clearly stated on your order confirmation, with the following exception: If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled, and will give you a complete refund.
Prices are inclusive of VAT (value added tax payable in the UK) unless otherwise stated.

Colour Reproduction
Objets-d-Art have made every effort to reproduce colours shown on their website as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colour in slightly different ways. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction, colour may vary in accordance with the settings of your monitor, software or printer. Therefore, the actual product may vary in colour to that shown on your screen. The term ‘gold’ used on our website refers to the colour.
If you are not satisfied with the colour of the item you have ordered we operate a full returns policy.

Delivery
Delivery applies to UK Mainland addresses where most deliveries can be made within 14 days but please allow up to 28 days.

Damaged or Faulty Goods
Notification of faulty goods should be made within seven days of the goods being received. Inspect any received package thoroughly before accepting/signing for it. If the package appears to have suffered shipping damage, keep the original shipping carton, promptly contact the shipping company for a damage inspection report and request that the shipping company return the merchandise. Under these circumstances do not return the merchandise yourself.
Goods that are defective through design or manufacture will be replaced free of charge or the purchase price refunded.

Refunds and Exchanges
Under United Kingdom Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for purchase of goods up to seven days following the date of delivery.
If you are not happy with your purchases for any reason email us within seven days and let us know that there is a problem. Simply return the item in its original packaging within 28days and we will make arrangements to replace or refund your purchase. If you chose to cancel your order after you have received the goods, you can return the goods but this is at your own expense.
Please ensure that returned items are packed and carefully labelled as it may not be possible to offer a refund or replacement on goods which are damaged during return transit. If they are damaged or lost in transit this is at your risk. If you prefer the goods can be collected from you with a deduction being made from your refund to cover the full cost of collection.
Please note that on some large or custom made items there may be a re-stocking charge of 10% of the original value.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Sales on this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and no amendments will be accepted by us.
You should read through them carefully before placing your order. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you and any changes will apply to subsequent orders received.

We adhere strictly to the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 1988. We will retain your account personal data to enable us to provide the services you have requested from us. In addition we may use your name and contact details to inform you of other products and services that we offer but we will not pass your details to any other company. Your payment details will be held by Paypal.

Cancellations
We may cancel an order for any item at any time before delivery.
